The recent Mars Chocolate North America Study indicates stores which practice category management and apply best assortment practices can boost sales up to 60%. The research study, conducted by Dechert-Hampe shows 28% of ice cream consumers will leave the category and 11% will leave the store if the item they are looking for isn’t available.
